Adrian started his career as a Sales Manager and quickly progressed to various leadership positions at top organizations, including Laureate Hospitality Education. At Sommet Education, Adrian led the Enrolment team for South Asia, Europe and Middle East before being promoted to Vice President of Enrolment. In this role, he has been instrumental in driving enrolment growth across Sommet Education's brands, using his strategic thinking and extensive knowledge of the education industry to develop and implement successful enrolment strategies.

Beatriz started working in the hospitality industry over 20 years ago. Firstly, in operations with Disney, Royal Caribbean and Hilton International. She completed her MBA in Marketing and in 2004 she started working for Accor, managing Marketing and Strategic Partnerships for the LATAM region. She pursued her career with American Express in Brazil in 2007, before moving to Switzerland and working for Laureate Hospitality Education, where she took over the Enrollment department. Since 2017 she has been working for Sommet Education, as the Regional Admissions Director for Americas, then she directed the Undergraduate Recruitment globally, before being appointed Vice President of the Enrollment department in April 2023.

Dr Pierre Ihmle started his career as a researcher in geophysics with Institut de Physique du Globe in Paris and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ), before moving to McKinsey & Company. He founded two companies between 2001 and 2007 and then led the business development of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne and most recently, he worked with Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) where he acted as Vice-Dean. After joining Sommet Education as Vice-President Strategic Planning in April 2017, Pierre was appointed Chief Academic Officer in March 2018.

Christophe brings 20 + years’ international experience in hospitality management, starting his career at Accor in North America then Accor Global HQ in Paris across various roles from finance, guest experience and digital marketing. He then participated in the digital transformation project of the group kicked off in 2014 while heading the revenue generation for Accor in Switzerland. More recently, he joined Michel Reybier Hospitality to lead the digital transformation and guest experience initiatives of the company across luxury hotels, wineries, and better aging spas. He joins the London office of Sommet Education in April 2019 to lead the growth and performance of our digital channels, and in April 2023 he was appointed Chief Revenue Officer. As of September 2024, Christophe has been appointed Chief Revenue and Marketing Officier.

Marie-Claude started her career as a commercial lawyer in a Canadian business law firm, providing legal advice on a wide variety of matters, including complex contracts, financing, M&A, corporate, intellectual property, real estate, data protection and commercial litigation. From 2007 to 2016, Marie-Claude acted as Senior Legal Counsel for Lexmark. Since December 2016, Marie-Claude acts as Group General Counsel for Sommet Education, providing legal advice to the management teams both in the institutions and at the corporate level, and supporting the implementation of the group’s business strategies.

Stéphane spent much of the early part of his career working for Club Med, progressing to the role of Human Resources Director, Hotels Division in 2003. During this time, Stéphane set up the new global Department of Human Resources for Club Med’s village resorts. From 2007 to 2017, Stéphane held several senior roles in human resources at AccorHotels namely at Pullman Hotels & Resorts and lastly as SVP Talent & Culture Corporate. In June 2017, Stéphane was appointed Vice-President Human Resources at Sommet Education.

After a first career path as an auditor with PwC in Paris and London, Valérie joined its Transaction Services division where she led during more than 15 years due-diligence missions as part of transactional operations (buy/sell-side) and financing/refinancing processes, focusing on operating model analysis and growth levers identification. During her last assignment, Valérie was Group CFO and Excom member of Evernex, an international leader in IT maintenance services, where she led the financial and administrative departments at group level. In September 2022, Valérie Truelle was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Sommet Education.

Anouck Weiss is woman of conviction and action, a seasoned Communication Executive with a strong track record of achievements in both corporate and brand Communication in the tourism, hospitality and education sector. She started her career in New-York working for the French Embassy to the United Nations, joined Accor corporate office in Paris to lead the corporate advertising department of the group. She was then entrusted by the group to reposition Sofitel in the upscale hospitality market worldwide. She later joined Carrefour Group to build the international communication of its real estate division. Prior joining Sommet Education in 2019, she was Head of Communication for Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne.

Eric Wyttynck spent a significant part of his early career with Accenture. From 2000 to 2010, he managed and implemented IT, CRM and roadmap systems for FMCG clients such as Carrefour, Casino, Venteprivée.com, Simply Market and FNAC as Senior Manager. In 2011, Eric joined AccorHotels as Senior Vice-President Customer Service, E-Commerce, Architecture and Innovation before being appointed Chief Technology and Innovation Officer in 2015, managing different IT teams and a staff of 150 people. In July 2017, Eric was appointed Chief Information, Innovation and Digital Officer at Sommet Education.

Carlos Díez de la Lastra Buigues was appointed CEO of Les Roches international network in March 2022. Previously, for the past eight years, he was Managing Director of Les Roches Marbella where he focused on consolidating the leadership of the University in Spain in the training hotel managers and executives for the global hospitality industry and related luxury sectors and drive its continued expansion to international scale as part of the Sommet Education group based in Switzerland.

He has developed a long professional career in the higher education sector, including among his most recent positions the Vice Presidency of Expansion (Spain) of the Laureate International Universities, and the General Director of the European University of the Canary Islands, as well as different management positions in Spanish and international universities.

Matt has a passion for innovation and doing things differently which comes from his broad experience in frontline and management roles within Business Intelligence, Sales, New Business Development and Commercial Finance held within blue chip companies.

Matt has worked across five continents and 19 countries to launch new products, establish sales operations and lead strategic projects.

His passion for education comes from a desire to address fundamental structural issues within Africa.

A Glion alumna, Karine began her career in luxury hospitality with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in the US and France. She then joined IHG’s global headquarters in the UK; and it was there that she discovered her passion for branding, which became the focus of her professional life. After almost four years in the UK she moved to Bangkok, ultimately joining the IHG’s global resort strategy team, before returning to the UK to take the role of Global Brand Director for the InterContinental Hotels & Resorts brand. Karine joined Sommet Education in 2018, with a brief to reposition the Glion and Les Roches brands in order to drive robust growth, while at the same time building a high-performing team both on-campus and at the London Marketing hub.

In March 2023 she was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer for our group. Passionate about the world of gastronomy, she joined École Ducasse as Managing Director as of September 1^st with the determination to promote this strong brand and position it as a benchmark on the international scene.

Dilip Puri is the Founder & CEO of the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH). Dilip served as the Managing Director of Starwood Hotels & Resorts South Asia from 2011 till the end of 2017 when he set out to be an education entrepreneur & founded ISH. Dilip has over three decades of experience in the hospitality industry & has worked with brands such as Oberoi, Taj, IHG & Starwood in India, Australia & Africa. Dilip is a recipient of Hotelier India Hall of Fame – Lifetime Achievement Award. 

Graduated from Les Roches Marbella in 2001 (Diploma in International Hotel Management), Mano Soler has nine years of experience in the hotel industry, where he held various management positions. He has a strong Hotel Operations background with a passion for people, customer service and guest experience.

At Les Roches, Mano Soler has held different positions: responsible for relations with the Alumni network (2008-2011), director of Student Services (2011-2012) and later, director of Operations and Student Services, a position he has held for 10 years, and from which he has overseen all school operations.

During this time, Mano has been an integral part of the success of Les Roches Marbella, that has positioned itself as one of the most important institutions in the world while increasing its enrolment up to 65% in the last 10 years.
Member of the Management Committee of Les Roches Marbella, Mano Soler (Philippines, 1980) assumes the management of the campus, with the aim of strengthening the leadership of Les Roches in Spain and strengthening the ties of collaboration with the industry.

Having now taken the role of Campus Director for our two Swiss campuses, Mano aims to leverage his extensive expertise in hotel operations, his passion for fostering exceptional student experiences, and his dedication to sustainability.

He is fluent in Spanish, English, French, Italian and can speak Moroccan Arabic, Tagalog, Portuguese and some German.
